SBC roller rockers

I figured this had been talked about before but i did a search i couldnt find the answer.

Will SBC roller rockers work on an LT1? Ive been looking and some say the clear center bolt value cover others dont say that.

SBC RR appear to be much cheaper so if they will work i wanna get those.

as long as you get them for the correct stud's you are running you should be good to go. Mine are standard SBC RR's like so many other guys...

stick with the narrow rockers and just go out and check the part numbers and you will see they are the same for LT and non LT based SBC's...

The question is why don't they like them? SA are not bad the stock rockers are technically SA rockers, the issue is that when people upgrade parts they normally do not try and skimp out, I did it because I was only going to use them for a short while anyway and I could not see spending money on all the other stuff at the time, but when I do heads and cam the I am not keeping the SA rockers...

if you are spending the money on studs, pushrods, and guideplates, DO NOT skimp on the rockers... As I stated about I got the cheep rockers to hold me over until I "did it right" and got all the good studs, pushrods guideplates, and etc with the good rockers...

I've had my SA rockers for over a year with a lot of high RPM races on them, so if setup right they should last fine, but is definitly is not the ideal setup...
