Longtubes decrease resale value of car
Longtubes decrease resale value of car
I wana think this is true. As prolly 50% of the people who look at the car don't like seeing those pipes stick out at the bottom of the car nore the clearance problems. Do you think mid's would be better as far as resale goes?
I agree with what's been posted. It depends on the buyer. It also saves you the trouble of doing them yourselves. You also should consider that a car with longtubes has been raced/beat more (Not that 90% of the used fbodies for sale aren't beaten on)
Well, I know there's a good chance a car wont make it through inspection with long tubes and no cats (the two usually go hand in hand) I guess this depends on the inspection station also, they can be real *****... That's why I saved my stock exhaust system if I ever try to sell mine. If I was buying I would assume I would have to do some exhaust work to get the car through, and would try to talk you down several hundred dollars to account for labor.
