I just took the TB off and got it done that way. To much of a PITA to get to it without taking the TB off.

R/R IAC W/O R/R TB = remove and replace the idle air control with out removing/replacing the TB. I would much rather take off the TB, a pain to get to those little screws and too easy to drop them into the abyss below 8)

Well in that case my vote is to R the TB before R/R the IAC.
