Meet in Honor of Our Soldiers
Meet in Honor of Our Soldiers
Draco Performance to host an Enthusiast Meet IN HONOR OF OUR SOLDIERS who have served and who are still serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.
The meet will be held at the shop located at 18605 Northline Drive in Cornelius, NC on Saturday, Oct. 27th from 9am-until. After meeting several soldiers over a North Carolina Subaru Forum and realizing that some communicating were still in Iraq awaiting their return home, Draco Performance decided that it’s their turn to give back to these men and women who have sacrificed so much in order to preserve our every day ways of life and day to day living without fear. Many of these soldiers already attend as many enthusiast meets as they can unnoticed by the organizations to which they are supporting, so this meet is for them. In addition to Draco Performance, a local food vendor in Cornelius, Matt’s Chicago Dog, without hesitation, have agreed to sponsor the event along with us by donating burgers and dogs for 50, including the soldiers in attendance. So food will be on a first come first serve basis unless you register.
Draco Performance is working on more excitement for the day to give thanks and I will update as things are confirmed, but these are the things that I know for now. Please join by registering your car and guests for this day of fellowship with the soldiers and other performance enthusiasts. If you plan on attending, please send your name, number of guests, and your vehicle year, make, and model to leslynbodine@bellsouth.net This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it so that we can do our best to make accommodations for all of those who want to come out and say “thanks”.
Events will include a designated dyno time for the soldiers to dyno their cars with a limited availability for others to dyno at a reduced priced TBD and may later on consist of a cruise in to Birkdale Village exclusive to those attending.
If anyone wants to help pay tribute to our soldiers and wants to contribute anything to this event you can send an email to Leslyn Bodine at the above e-mail address.
