no codes, no start

The lt1 gave one hard pull on a back road and then started studdering and stalling. I took it up to about 5000 in 2nd gear and let off, when I came up to the stop light it had studdered to a stop. It limped back home for a ways doing the same hesitating and stalling until it died about 3 blocks from home and wouldn't restart. When trying to restart it, it would turn over but not fire, and sometimes would act like it was grounding out and kill all the power to everything. So far I have replaced the fuel filter (had one laying around), checked the trouble codes (shows none), pulled the valve covers and made sure all the valves were adjusted and moved when the engine turns over, tested the coil, checked inilne for spark, pulled a couple plugs (look normal), and made sure the fuel pump is priming. All fueses underhood look good. Wires are testing at about 50-100 ohms per foot (MSD 8.5 wires). There is no fuel smell in the FPR vac line. Any ideas on where to go next?

Throw some fuel in the intake and try starting it.
