10.52 NA Pass 95 396 LT1

Here's a clip of my best pass to date. Unfortunately it's next to a 5.90 1/8th mile car and it makes me look bad. It was my 3rd 10.5X pass of the day and then the techs threw me out - no roll bar. Track conditions were good - 62 degrees, 52% humidity, slight headwind 10 - 15 mph. Other consistent cars were down 1 - 1.5 mph because of the wind.
1.406 60'
6.67 8th @ 102

I drive this car to the track, and then install slicks and remove the bullet mufflers and install header pipe extensions (14" long). The rest is in my sig.

Sweet....great to see N.A. cars hitting those ETs. I'm guessing you spent a full tank of gas to get down the quarter.

Thanks!

It's a built 4L60E with an ATI 8 inch converter footbraked. The intake is stock and port-matched with a 58mm BBK. I need a cage and some frame reinforcing with some sort of anti roll control or maybe an extreme duty drag sway bar. You will notice if you look closely that the car is twisting badly and barely pulls the wheels. Right now I'm using the stock sway bar with poly bushings, UMI performance torque arm, BMR frame connectors, 90-10's, and air bags.

Big converters and lots of gear in an automatic its how it's done.

Good job chris!

Very nice times! What is your race-weight and what does your DA typically run there at your track?

Great job Chris, you're "flyin." I remember about 2 yr ago you ran 11.95 with a "503" cam only, I was in the other lane. 396, nice upgrade!
