after installing a 100 hp dry shot,and with 120k my head gasket let go.i know, what was i thinking.anyways i thought it better to just build a motor to match the rest of my 95 z, mods in sig.so today i bought:

mahle pistons 4.030,6.0 rod,3.48 stroke
eagle h beam rods w/ up graded cap screws
scat 4340 crank
splayed main caps,billet
shaft mounted rocker arms for vortec heads
a 2 bolt lt1 block, heads and intake
cometic head gaskets
then, to the machine shop be fitted with the splayed caps ,bored and valve seats cut to 2.0/1.55. Ill be porting the heads and intake and getting some flow bench time. then mocking up the valve trane and ordering the right parts for the heads.anyone use 400+ lb springs on NEW stock lifters?
