LT1 stand alone harness conversion: OBD I harness, OBD2 PCM
LT1 stand alone harness conversion: OBD I harness, OBD2 PCM
Alright, just a few quick things to see if I remembered everything.
I have a OBD1 harness I'm modifying for standalone install in a 1984 Jaguar with an OBD 2 PCM.
I've removed the Field Output Service Enable wire from the harness, and added a Serial Data Class II wire.
OBD1 knock sensors were connected together on single pin (B-Body Harness). OBD2 shows each sensor has own wire all way back to PCM. So I added a wire to the PCM plug for second knock sensor
added crank sensor signal wire to the pcm plugs, got ground and power for crank sensor from the harness.
trans connector has pin T for TCC PWM solenoid, so I'd assume that part is good too.
Are there any other changes anyone can think of that I might need to do?
