Use new OEM lifters?

I am currently buying up parts for a head/cam rebuild, was wondering if new OEM lifters would be good for my package. So far have some ported heads, and plan on going with beehive springs, and a cc503 or a custom cam

It depends on the cam, valvesprings, etc. In most cases OEM lifters are fine especially with beehive springs which usually do not have a lot of spring pressure.

With that setup, OEM replacments should work fine.

I went with the LS7 lifters that were posted in the link earlier. I figured for only $220 they have great reviews and look very promising so what the hell.

You can get Comp hi energy lifters for pretty cheap. If you can hang on about a month I'll be selling mine. Used for 50 miles....
