lt1 swap causing problems
Swapped a 94 lt1 into my 95 v6 a few weeks ago. my c105 connector only had a tan and pink wire so i extended the tan inside the car and took the pink to the connector on the shock tower. Car now runs, but very bad.... My lamp harness is off of a 95 lt1 camaro. The engine is a 94 lt1. On the c220 connector inside the car cavity D(spark retard request), cavity E(Throttle position sensor signal EBTCM), and cavity H(Performance switch signal) they all dont go anywhere, the other end of the connector is empty. Im wondering about these three wires because now that my car will run, it misses, seems like timing is off, and is running very rich on the left bank. The o2 sensor readings on the left bank are around 8 and the right bank is around 400. Bought a new o2 sensor and still the same readings! Also, the scan tool is reading an open loop all the time. I checked all the vacuum connections, plug and wire locations and all were good. And the low coolant light is on, but switched low coolant sensors and the light is still on! I dont know is the c220 wires have anything to do with my problems or if the lamp harness years are causing my trouble? Im lost for clues at this point...
