alright my problem is really the knock retard. for some reason will running out the gears my ecu is pulling timing. it looks to be false knock cause it starts off high but then drops off as the rmps increase. not real sure what is causeing this and i need to fix it fast. im trying to spray this thing but dont want to blow it up. my set up is le2, stock short block, around 11.5.1 compression, all the bolt ons. also am running some tr7 plugs, stock replacement plug wires, stock opti, msd blaster coil, mallary 685 ign box. top end is comp spring, pushrods, 1.6rrs, and lifters. oh and its all on a 97 lt1 formula with the obd1 swap. friend of mine thinks it has something to do with either the opti or the plug wires. i just cant figure it out. any help is much welcome.

do you at least have a LT4 KM or did you have yours desensitized with a tune? I'm sure your getting at least a little valvtrain noise that would cause part of it.

 

put the lt4 knock mod in before i put heads on it. i also tried the spray out and for some reason it starts fine but starts to stuter and sputer real bad around 4100 and up. no clue whats causing that. please help someone
