water pump oil seal.. should it be put on with both seals facing out?

water pump oil seal.. should it be put on with both seals facing out?

just wondering about the felpro water pump timing cover seal... if when instaled should the grey seal be under the orange seal after being instaled?

no, one faces in, the other faces out, if both are facing out, the seal is ruined, and you need a new one

do a search on it there are several threads on the proper way it should be installed and some nifty ticks to installing it.

oh, the inner lip faces in.
