Well the previous own cut the wires to the cooling fans I assume for some type of aftermarket setup but not sure. Either way I am not having to put them back together and I have more wires on one side than the other. Colors are off as well.

I have looked at the wiring diagram on shbox.com but not sure when diagram would be mine as their is early or late production.

I have the 4 wires that are going to the cooing fan harness. I have 4 wires on the main harness but a few colors do not match as I have a gray wire and the main harness has 2 black with no gray. I also have a black wire further up the main harness along with a very small and thin black wire. Pics are below for better reference.




Any help is greatly appreciated

anybody have an idea of which wires will go where? I know the colors that match go together but not sure on the tiny black wire or the black wire further up.

You would have to provide info like what year and how many fan relays to know which fan relay schematic (early or late) to use. It's hard to help when people don't provide info.

 

Well if I knew the early or late I would use the diagram on the site but I don't. The car is a 94 Z28.

The 2 diagrams on your site do not fully match the colors of wires I have nor do they show the 2 spare wires that are loose next to them either.

I have given all info I know on it right now, honestly if I knew everything exactly about the system I wouldn't need any help.

Early uses 2 relays, late uses 3, just as the diagram shows. A 1994 could have either. Those diagrams are right out of the factory manual, so I don't know why the colors would not match (maybe someone altered it). If there are some extra wires in there that are not part of the fans, then they won't be shown on the fan schematic.
