Battery died... now idle is off...HELP

The battery went out in my TA. I took it out of the car and put it on the charger. The next day it was fully charged so I put it back in. Now my idle is off. It was set to idle at 1500rpm in Park... now it's down around 600-800. What the hell happened?... did I screw up my program or something?

im not 100% sure, but if you take the battery off for something like 20 minutes, I think the computer resets

Yea that same thing happened to me the other day. I think that the computer needs time to relearn its idle.

Well, I'm hoping that it just needs a few cycles to re-learn everything.

I talked to Bryan Herter... he thinks it may just need 40-50 miles for the idle air controller to learn in.

Just noticed your post MEAN LT1. You're right. Everything seems to be fine now after I've put some miles on it.

Thanks for the help guys.
