trick flow elbow ?

i have a trickflow elbow. it comes with the hole on the passenger side of it for the one sensor. on the drivers side of the elbow your suppose to drill a little hole for a tiny hose.

my question is. whats the little hose? and does it matter then i didnt drill the hole, i just left the hose sitting out it the open. is it going to cause any problems?

thanks

Not entirely positive but I think it's the optispark vent. If so, I would imagine it is bad to have it in the open with the possibility of sucking particles inside the opti. Do a search, I'm sure there is something on it.

Optispark vent.

Open the hole and run the hose.

wouldnt the engine be sucking air from the opti then? im sure the motor has a more forceful sucking power to it to over take the sucking of the opti.

The point is that it's a fresh air line for the opti, it's part of the venting system for the opti.

Without it you are defeating the purpose of having a vented opti. Without it you are sucking in dirty air into the opti, which in turn gets pulled into the motor.

Put the line on.
