Temp gauge going nuts, lol why??
I got a 93 Z28. Just bought it. And i was idling in my driveway trying to locate the exhaust leak.
I look at the temp gauge it was at midway point then it jumped up to redline, then back to below half, then up to redline again, and back down..

Prolly loose on the sensor. It's the plug in the drivers side head. Unplug and make sure the pins are straight and that the plug isn't all bent up so that it can't make contact.
