I have the Proform covers in black crinkle finish (#141-131), but they do make chrome(141-132) and polished aluminum(141-130). These are very nice valve covers. You can go to http://www.proformparts.com/mistore/...ER&model_id2=0 for pics/info. These vc are taller than stock and mine cleared my Comp ProMags w/ ARP studs and ARP Permalocks with no probs. They also have the superior GM designed PVC baffle. You will have to do a little grinding on the alternator. No big deal. Do a search as somebody here has pics on where to grind. I will add to be careful as to not gring too much as the area is a boss for a screw that fastens from the inside of the alternator. You wouldn`t want to grind too much and have the screw have no threads to bite on. I took my alt. apart to check it out.

You can get them at Summit Racing

Canton 65-206 valve covers are the way to go in my opinion.

Those ProForm RULE. Probably the only ones that fit over Jesel and T&D shaft rockers, (with minor grinding) accept for the leak-prone fabricated style.

some examples.

Alternator will rub as stated. One option is to get an LT4 damper (GM or ATI) and space the accessory bracket out 16mm. Any centerbolt valve cover can be used then but extra tall ones are a bear behind the cowl.

I will in a week or 2
intake is a polished ceramic coating, same with headers
If I can get the VC chromed by then I will if not just a fresh polish
