I have comp dual coil 978 springs, and it says that the heads need to be machined to fit the springs. For those of you with these springs, what did it cost you to have the heads machined to fit these?

One guy guessed 200 but he said he was straight guessing. If it's that much i'll just sell my 978's and get 918 beehives or something.

 

I charge $65 for spring pad cutting....but you should not need that with those springs - they need a locator but no machine work.
