Well, if you know there is a sponsor over on LS1tech that sells them, how are you having a hard time tracking him done? You you mean he's not answering calls/emails?

Have you checked with CamaroZ28.com's Supporting Vendors?

Are you sure you aren't thinking about a GM replacement for $300?

Is this new or rebuilt? I'm interested if it's new.

Give Bob at www.advancedautocc.com a call or email. I know he has early and late style MSD Opti's in stock. I believe his prices are better than Summit and Jegs on them, but don't quote me on that. I have one installed on my car and the quality is unmatched, it's a shame that you can't see it with everything installed because the billet base is just sooo pretty!

Both of these folks are GM dealers, these are brand new GM units right from GM at wholesales prices...similar to gmpartsdirect, just without the outrageous shipping prices

I just looked at my bill, total was $243 including shipping.

I'd recommend Jason Cromer anyday. I bought 2 AC Delco O2 sensors from him at a super cheap price and shipping was fast as hell. When I told my mechanic how much I bought them for he didn't believe me and gave me a response of "I can't even get them that cheap."
