HVAC Delete

Well Im going to remove all HVAC today since I still have the motor out of my car. The lines that run from the heater core from the firewall to the water pump I think what do yall do about them since there will be no heater core anymore? Just loop them together at the waterpump?

Oh and I got one question also. On the passenger side there was a black brain box that had a sticker on it that said something like pass key or something like that. What is that used for?

So did you end up pluging the two hoses or coupling them together?
