which exhaust for LE1 or LE2 H&C

I want to maximize my HP on the dyno and loose some weight

I currently have Pacesetter coated headers, offroad Y pipe, going into a Hooker Catback. Would I gain any Horsepower on the dyno by going true duals and dumping before the axle?

What would you recommend for this setup? This is not my daily driver anymore, and I dont have emissions testing

If you have the money and motivation to do another exhaust change, then by all means. Not only do true duals sound absolutely amazing in my opinion, but you should add some extra power as well.

on a h/c setup, you'll definatly gain some power in the upper rpm range.

i'd say some 2.5" duals with an Xpipe and magnaflow 4x9 mufflers should do nicely.

Pick a muffler that makes a sound you like and use a 3" I pipe (or catback).
Install an e-cutout for performance on demand.

Personally, I like Hooker I've tried different setups on all three cars and always ended up back with a good old hooker and a cutout.

I never did see the value in putting all the extra pipe under my car for true duals, but that's personal opinion.

I'm ditching my y-pipe setup soon and moving to an X-pipe myself. My catback doesn't fit with my 9" rear.
