Was 6k to far?

i ran into a srt10 truck on the way to school to day. to make a long story short i wasent paying attention at hit around 6.2k in the car after that there is a weird clinking noise under the car so i jacked it up on one side and started it up... the noise is comming from right behind the oil pan where the oil drips outs... it is silver in color and has a little bend to it and up in there is where the noise is comming from. The clinking doesnt have a pattern to it and happens spontaniously. What could this be? thank you

So let me get this straight...

You ran into a truck as in you got in an accident?

"6.2k" is 6200 RPM or 6.2 KPH?

"The noise is coming from right behind the oil pan where the oil drips outs” You are speaking of the drain plug?

If the car is damaged you might check the fans behind the radiator if they are obstructed and they kick on you will get a clicking noise.

Sorry for my ignorance

if it's a 6 speed, that sounds like one of the fingers off the pressure plate breaking loose.

my bad-just saw it's an automatic
