Couple of question
Couple of question/ Having stumble probs
Before this latest repair the car was running fine. Ran 11.50s a couple of weeks prior with incorrect valve springs. Going down the road, the balancer bolt backed out and the balancer slid off of the crankshaft and I ran it over. So, I got a new balancer and procharger crank pulley and went to start it up and it ran like doodoo. Turns out the opti had bit the dust too. Replaced the opti and backed my valve lash off to 1/8 turn on comp oem lifters by recommendation from another subject and made sure I didnt have any broken springs. Im having a coil bind issue, .606/.628 cam on .600 lift springs
I got the car all put back together and it has a stumble that i cant figure out. I know the opti is "timed"
correctly on the cam and I just warrantied my MAF sensor because I threw a code a couple of times while diagnosing the opti.
First, the easy one. Can too loose of a valve lash cause the stumble?? Could the valve springs be toast?
Secondly, I threw a check summ error code one time. I cleared it and it hasnt come back but can it still be affecting the car. If I have this code will the car still run?? Im curious if the pcm needs to be replaced??
Thanks
