Which rear main seal?
What's the difference between the teflon and the rubber seals? What are the pros/cons of both?

Teflon- Man made My guess....

Thanks. Man can only make materials out of things that come from nature, so there's the end of that. Anyone actually know anything about the differences between these two?

Teflon is more expensive, and I just assumed that it would last longer and seal better. I don't really know any specifics though.

For the rear main seal, the rubber is more expensive, but only by a couple bucks.

Reverse that then. I bought the rubber one (more expensive). Use the same reasons though.
