Did I get the right gasket kit?

I've been searching all day and I finally found a timing cover gasket kit. I got the FelPro kit, p/n TCS 45956, I hope that this is the one I need. Could anyone let me know if this is the right p/n before I start tearing into it in the morning? I know it'll be just my luck that it won't be the right one. It just seems like the Opti seal looks too big.

That kits is the one for the later model LT vented opti 96-97. Does your 95 have the vented opti?

I saw all these gaskets just last week. The O rings go on the part of the opti that goes into the camshaft. I put a little lube on mine to help the opti go on a little easier.

The opti does not go into the cam on a 95.

I disagree. The nub on the back of the opti goes through the cam gear and rests in the end of the camshaft.

You sure you've done this stuff before? Don't sound like it...

As mentioned, the opti's nub pops into the cam through the timing gear.

What I meant was the dowel pin on the cam drives the opti. It does not have a spline drive like the unvented type. It does not go (into the cam gear).

the vented optis have a shaft about an inch long that goes THROUGH the cam gear, and into the front of the cam, those O-rings go on that shaft, to provide stabalization for the opti shaft
