October 15th this year is Vicary Day at Cordova Dragway Park in Cordova, IL

Slow Pony, a local shop out of Peoria, IL is hosting a drag day at Cordova Dragway Park near the Quad Cities. They do this every year and the event is hosted by the owner of the shop, Eric Vicary. There will be plenty of variety there, domestics and imports. I know I will be planning on attending with several other friends and you're welcome to join us if you like. Where: Cordova, IL / Cordova Dragway Park / 10 miles north of I-80, Exit #1
When: October 15th
Time: Gates open at 9AM, racing at 10AM-6PM
Who: all of CamaroSS.com, all of Z28.com, www.dsmcentral.com, Slow Pony shop cars, IMS Racing, and several other area racers, last year was over 100 cars
How Much: $40 to race, $5-10 to spectate
concessions, race fuel, ethanol, and bathrooms are all there

There will be an informal caravan starting in Bloomington, IL and making the trek to Cordova. I'm not sure who all is making the caravan but I will be going up a day ahead of time to visit family.
