I hear its a glasstech v good cond not painted. I did find that it sticks up about 1/8th on an inch in the back but I'm sure i could have done some adjustments to fix that. I jsut liked my 3" better. pics here

Can you tell me how much it weights and is it pin on or bolt on?

What could the "Bolt On King" be bolting on to need a 4" cowl?

my 'glass SS hood with brackets and painted is 35#s.
A flat 'glass hood unpainted with brackets is 25#s.
I am looking for a pin on hood that is less than 25#s.

This one of the cheaper weight saving mods now....

I think your numbers might be a tad high for a flat pin on, here's what VFN says about theirs;

'93-97 Stock Flat Pin On Hood (with or without vents). Price=260.00 Weight=12 Ship: Truck Freight.

Or, if you want to get down to prolly 10lbs or less there's the carbon fiber stuff I've been hearing about...

about 30 lbs and its bolt on uses all factory hinges
