Re: looking for Good, HONEST body shop
i had mine done there, they did awesome work, as far as body work was concerned, very nice...
the only problem i had was that i was having an electrical issue, gave it to them to fix.. the old man (the guys dad maybe) had no idea what he was doing, scratched off some paint (its now rusty) next to a ground wire.... u know what it was, they didn't tighten the battery terminal... thats lazy if u ask me
also, for an alignment they have this guy 'next door' - crap allignment job - my steering wheel is off centre...
basically, the guy who owns/runs it - great guy, great paint and body work... the rest was shoddy if you ask me - i didn't take my gf's car back there, we went to a place in richmond...
thats just my $0.02

Re: looking for Good, HONEST body shop
Mike at Spotlite (Kent Ave location) is usually pretty good, if there are any problems take it back and tell him to fix it. He will for sure. Anyways, they painted my '69 (you guys will see it in the Spring time) and I take all my ICBC stuff there. They do alot of high-end cars so I would think if they work on those cars they do good work. Amit had his car painted there, and Ken (IrocZ383) you can ask them.
I also have another friend: James @ New West Collision. He does good work as well.
Try either shop. Tell them you know me: Ryan

Re: looking for Good, HONEST body shop
Hi, I'm new to the forum and I live in Surrey and would highly recommend Harms AutoBody. My Lincoln was hit twice very hard, over 12,000 damage each time and the car today looks and drives better than new. It also runs low 13's at over 110mph in case you've seen it at Mission. The owner of Harms is Peter Lyons and the # is 584-5111. They have two of the best body men in the lower mainland. I bought stock low milage 95 Z28-M6 a couple of weeks ago and it's nice to see there are some local people on the site.
