Took the car our for a drive!

How sweet, I always feel bad driving her cuz of all the money put in LOL, but I gave her a few times on the highway, holly crap does she ever pull and keep pulling it's scary, I came back home and my heart was pounding, still shaking, it's been a while since I was in a powered car LOL, I drove some stock ones around about less then a month ago and thought it was nothing special, then got in my car and yup, it's all worth it!!! I guess I felt 500HP again, after 4500 it just holds you back and won't let go.

I can't believe I was used to that 4 month back LOL.

Re: Took the car our for a drive!

Sounds like fun.

I have no idea what a near 500horse car feels like, and since I spend most of my time driving in my 50hp Diesel Golf - I've nearly forgotten what a 300horse car is like also.

Ahhh well, there's always next summer........

Re: Took the car our for a drive!

So are we going to see a 383 w/rear mounted turbo next year?!

I want to see this car at the track with a decent tire on the back!!!

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but I'm a bit burnt out on the car thing this year. For example, I paid to have the rearend re-sealed about 1 1/2 months ago and now is leaking a bit again. I did pay a fair amount (non cash deal - I have a receipt for a change ) so I'm not sure if I should take it back and have them do it again....???? My new toy is my 2005 F350 diesel Crew cab, short box and she's got LOTS of power. (work truck to tow skid steers and mini excavators around)

Re: Took the car our for a drive!

Man your car has really come along, finally got it going right after the 93 incident

But yes its a sickness, I have a 401rwhp 387rwtq very small cam only motor which at first felt like a monster in the relatively light Z06. But now whenever I drive my car I think something is wrong.. are the cats plugged, is one of my spark plug wires off etc. You just get used to it. Now I'm eyeballing a custom Vortech setup.....I must.....resist...

Too bad you aren't closer I'd like to go against you on the highway and see what would happen....
