Cam surge...turns out to be EGR
I have had off idle surging @ 1200-1800 RPM after hot cam install. Thought it was cam surge. I was checking for possible vacuum leaks and found the EGR diaphram leaking vaccum. The EGR was causing the surge. Hope this info. will help if someone else has low rpm surge due to a leaking EGR.
