You might want to state your goals, the amount of cash flow you have, what kind of streetability you want.

Since he didn't give any info, how about an experienced LT1 rebuilder letting us cheapskates all know what we really need to know: what is the minimum effort rebuild you could go through to support one of the commonly available heads and cam combo's (LE1,LE2,etc), and how much does it usually cost?

Ok here is some info on my car. It burns little bit of oil. I think that piston rings are worn out and so are my valve seals. I dont want to add anything performance wise since i might be selling it soon anyways and because of the high gas prices. So basiclly I just want to fix that. How much would that set me back.

If you are going to re ring and bearing it, then cost's won't be that high. Provided you pull the engine and rebuild it yourself. It shouldn't cost anymore than 500-600 dollars to have the machine shop check the block/rod out the oil galleys, etc. Plus parts/gaskets etc. There are other more experienced guys that can give more insight.
