Re: Need A New Tranny

I had work done on my old Jimmy at a place in Surrey called Blackwell Distributors. They are on Scott Road at the bottom of 108, towards the skytrain station. They did really good work and stood by everything they did. If you need to go to a shop I recomend them.

Re: Need A New Tranny

There is only one wire that is close to the headers and thats the PCM ground I think but it's got a heat shield, did you check the fluid level etc...? somehow I doubt it's your tranny.

Auto Trannys usually don't die over night. Check your fluid level. If good then I'd drop the tranny pan and see if the pick up or tranny filter came loose. It sounds like something inside may have loosened up.

Yeah, that tranny was leaking pretty bad, definitely check the fluid level.

Re: Need A New Tranny

Yeah those wires have heat shielding on them and were pulled away, guess it went back to it's old spot and burnt, no big deal, just have to redo that wire.
