I recently swaped the lt1 in my 95Z for one out of a 97SS. My 95 motor had a little bearing noise in it. After driving the car for a few weeks it just was not performing with the 97 motor in it. I started searching the threads and happened to run across the thread about the differences in the knock sensors. The service engine soon light was not coming on ( due to a blown SES bulb)but sure enough when I scanned it it was the knock sensor. I swapped them and the car has finnally came back to life. Just wanted to thank all the people here for their knowledge. You save'd me alota time and trouble. =)
