Car dies after new cam

Just got the car today and drove around a little. Car was running fine except for a little hesitatation. Then it just shutoff on the highway. Tried to start, it turned over but didnt start. Mechanic will look at it in the morning, just wondering if any of u know what this sounds like. I assume it's electrical but i guess it could be anything. Man this sux oh and even worse a mustang passed me all broken down

You need to describe the situation some more.....did the engine start making any noises before it shut off?

It could be several things but one comes to mind. Did you shorten the dowel pin on the front the cam? if not you may of toasted your opti.

Have you replaced your fuel filter recently? Mine did the same, and the filter was the culprit.

Unless a massive amount of crap was pumped into his gas tank in 1 fill, I would think something like this would start out small and get progressively worse...
