I was riding down the road and my car just cut off...Now when i rev it up it acts like it is going to cut off, like it is losing power . Is the problem my battery or something else? It has also been losing alot of water lately, does that have something to do with it?

 

try cleaning the connections to ur battery terminals, and making sure they're on nice and tight

otherwise, check all ur grounds....
i had a 'similar' problem, it was becuase the positive wasn't on tight enough

 

You say it has been losing a lot of water lately. Have you located any external coolant leaks? If not, you should have a look at your oil dipstick. Foam in the oil or oil that is milky in color means you are leaking coolant into your oil, probably by a blown head gasket but maybe by a crack in the heads or the block. Do a compression test to determine the condition of your head gasket if you find any of those symptoms in the oil I mentioned. A blown head gasket will also result in a lack of power like you mention. Post back with what you find, and good luck!
