94 3.4l Burnout?
I just got my car about 2 wks ago and I do pretty good burnouts but only with one tire (the right hand side rear tire) Is this normal? how can I get it to burn both rear tires? THE ONE TIRE BURN IS GETTING OLD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: 94 3.4l Burnout?
its all to do with ur differential, u have what is called an open differential, and what this does, is when 1 tire slips, all the power goes to that wheel - thus making ur 1 tire spin in a burn out...
if u replace it with a limited slip differential, what happens is that when 1 tire starts to slip, power is put more to the non-slipping tire - which allows for 2 tire burnouts, also a higher threshold for spinning out on corners is created doing this, mind u - when u do lose it, u lose it real bad
and like mustangeater82 says - burnouts get tiresome pretty quick...
