Re: cooling problems

check to see if your fans kick on while on the road. If not then thats your answer. If not then try your water pump or thermostat.

Re: cooling problems

get the manual fan switch from slp because i am thinking your saying when you come to a stop it hits 230 deg if so all our cars do that. until you get the switch you can turn on your heater full blast

Re: cooling problems

You seem to be having the similar problem i am having...
check out this post

There are some suggestions on there on what you can do...
tomorrow i am draining the engine oil, tranny oil, and the coolant and adding new fluids and maybe install a air foil for the hell of it and ill let you know what the temperature difference is...ill probably throw in one of those
bottles that guarantee to drop down your temperature about 10 degrees...
