Will Mass Air Flow sensor and Throttle body help...

Just curious as to how much these two items would help the performance of the ol' Z. Mods are listed in signature. These two mods are pricey and was wondering how much performance gain I could expect from them. Have been considering for a while but need more info. Are they worth the money? Thanks a bunch.

unless u have extensive engine work then ide say no to the maf. the stock one is calibrated to work well up to 400hp i believe, so getting an aftermarket one for a stock n/a motor is a waste of time. as for the t/b u may get a slight gain from a 52mm (over the stock 48mm) b/c the ports on the intake are 52mm. i think a 58mm would be overkill unless you have the intake port matched, which would again be a waste on a stock motor b/c the increased flow doesnt equate to much hp.

Neither one are worth the money you would put into them at this time the 48mm tb will be more than enought to power your motor and the same for the maf
