dyno'd my car

OK I have a 96 with just pacesetter lt's, off-road y-pipe, and flowmaster for the exhaust. Moroso intake with vortech elbow for it to breath better.
On the first run with the cut-out closed i got 282.4 hp and 314.4 trq. I took the cut out plate off and got 288.5 hp and 318.6 trq. Is that good numbers for the mods I have. Let me know, I will try to get the dyno charts up tomorrow. This was also with a fully stock computer so I would probably benefit more from a good computer tunning. Thanks

What AF numbers you have? It will tell if you running it rich or lean to help out the numbers a little better.

man that looks good a friend of mine and i only put out 270 with his a4 and 279 with my m6 but both of us are running shorty headers which would make up the difference but we both also have had a mail order tune. Nice Numbers get it tuned and see what happens i bet you will get a bit more out of it

Re: dyno'd my car

I've heard that 9" rear will take up a bit more power than our 10 bolts....

Re: dyno'd my car

my air/fuel was running at around 12.4 the guy said. You cant raed it on the chart because the font was too big and overlaps itself. It looks like it says right between 12 and 13. The 9 inch does take up some, I expected that.
hopefully with a good tune I can be over 300, I will be happy for a stock lt1 internal motor.

I'd say for going through a 9inch those are good numbers. It would be close to 300hp to the wheels through a stock 10 bolt.

I say if you can get your AF around mid / high 13 it will give about 10 more rwhp. 12.4 is a little rich.
