Skyline Cruise Oct 2 and 3rd.

Hey guys/gals, Just wanted you all to know that I started organizing the Skyline Drive Cruise this year. THe first one was in June and the Fall one is Oct 2 and 3rd. Below is what I have been posting on various message boards, this board is probably the oldest, best, most widely recognized forum and wanted you all to know about the event. Nothing special, just like minded enthusiasts that get together for a nice cruise through the Shenendoah National Park. Below is what I posted over at the Chirpthird website.

Howdy gang, got me a super assistant (her name is Liz) to help me out with making the reservations for the Fall Skyline Cruise event. She spoke to the Super 8 motel and requested a block of 20 rooms for October 1-3. These rooms are mixed smoking and non. She was not able to give her just non-smoking rooms. The cost is $61.65 + tax = 68.12/night. This includes a 10% discount.

Please call Super 8 and tell him that you wish to reserve a room from the Camaro Cruise for October 1st and/or 2nd.

They will hold the rooms unit 1 week prior to the event... If rooms are not booked by September 24th, they will be released.

Re: Skyline Cruise Oct 2 and 3rd.

I plan to go this year. This will be my very first Skyline cruise, so I really don't know what to expect. Do you know if Super 8 still has vacancies? I know the cruise is still a month away, but I'm unsure of how early people start to reserve rooms. Can you tell me a little bit about how the cruise works? For instance, is the whole event planned out? Like does everyone drive from A to B to C, etc, together? Or is there just a general cruise and then people tear off and do what they please? I'm just trying to get a general idea of what to expect. Thanks.
