Car runs like crap when its hot out....any ideas (especially Arizona guys)?

I'm in Arizona, so during the day it gets up to 110+ degrees. The car runs fine until about 11am when it starts getting really hot, and after about 8pm when it starts to cool down again. I mean, during this hot part of the day the engine sounds fine, but its like I'm getting really crappy throttle response....so crappy that during semi-hard take-offs operating the clutch pretty normally, it is bogging down badly. I have to slip the clutch way too much to avoid this.

Again, duing the morning and evening, it runs great. The car's only got 50k on the clock....

Air filter is clean, clutch is new, I have a 160* thermo, lowered fan operating temps, and I just had my coolant changed last month. All other mods are in my sig.

Maybe my throttle body needs a cleaning? I dunno......any ideas?

Thanks guys

They do seem to run much worse here in the summer. My car always shows more knock retard and pulls more timing during the summer. Just make sure to run premium gas, and keep the engine temps as low as possible. Mine never gets above the first makr even in the summer with my 160 thermo, fan programming, and electric WP. I try not to drive mine during the day in the summer, especially since the ac doesnt work . Good Luck.
