How do you route the #7 wire?

I've burned through 2 of them in the last month and this is really getting old.

Anyone have any pictures, diagrams or advice or anything, I'm really getting sick of this.

I have stock dual cat manifolds and the car is a 96 BTW

It should go with the other wires in a big loomed tube at about the #1 plug, then connect to number 3 or 5 with some other kind of bracket (or use your own) and then go into a holder that is tucked under the manifold and goes all the way out to the number seven plug. It loops around like a J that is rotated a quarter turn counter-clockwise, then goes on the plug.

If you want get a really long wire and route it throught the motor mount or something.

Just wanted to say I love you.
Question though:

That lip that the wire runs underneath, does removing the bolt i highlighted remove that piece? Is it just open underneath of that to fit the wire through?

Do you think if I wrapped the wire in heat resistant tape it would fit underneath of that still?

Thanks

You only have to loosen that rear bolt as the channel is slotted. There is another bolt (visible here ) in the front that has to come completely off. It is just a U-channel that the wire sits in. Big enough for the wire and the stock convoluted tubing.
