MAJOR PROBLEM! Lip on timing cover chipped, am I screwed?

MAJOR PROBLEM! Lip on timing cover chipped, am I screwed?

I am changing out the opti seal, finally got it out and look what happens.
LOOK AT THESE PHOTOS, The lip chipped. AM I SCREWED??!?!?!

Once you go to the link then click anything goes and you will see the post i put up their. It is titled "Changing opti seal, Lip Chipped"

Please I really need help on wether to go ahead and put the seal on or order a new timing cover.

If any of the pieces of metal fell in their will it damage my engine? I am pretty sure they didn't, but if they did?

The chip won't be a sealing problem where it is. The seal is in front of it. Hopefully, the chip will drain out with your next oil change or stick in the pump screen.
