4- point vs 2 point strut bar

Where does the 4-point engine bay strut bars extra 2 points bolt into? And is it worth the extra money then the regular 2 point?

I think you have to drill a hole in the cowl to bolt in the brace.

Please elaborate what you mean by 4 point. I have never seen a 4 point. The Edelbrock 3 point is the closest I can think of to your "4 point".

I believe you mean three point. The Edelbroch unit has two places that attach to the cowl (has to be drilled). Kinda giving the impression of 4 points. I heard auto crossers don't use them because it could crack the windshield. 3 point is supposed to help the car lift less in turns and plant the tires firmer, than a two point. I've had mine on for five years, no problems yet.

Sorry no pics. It looks like a very skinny triangle. Mounts over either shock absorber, Three bolt holes apiece. Then under the center section of the cowl. One piece mount, under the cowl, two bolt holes. Looks nice, makes working on the engine a pain sometimes.

"4-point" is the LG Motorsports description for their brace that bolts to the cowl. I've had mine for 8 years.

No, it won't break your windshield.
