What cam with stock heads??

any ideas?? I'm wanting more power than the hot cam has to offer. I will also be going with 1.6rr's. I was thinking 224/230xe or a cc306 or cc305. What do you guys think??

I just want to be able to outrun the LS1's. I will either go with a cam and 1.6rr's or a 125hp shot of nitrous and 1.6rrs what do you guys think??

Well, how much more power than the hotcam?

I see great times from almost everyone I see running the CC305.

You will certainly outrun LS1's with the CC305 cam kit and a set of headers&catback.

The XE224/230 is a great choice too.

How driveable of a cam do you want? You can go anywere from a C305 to a 847 depending on what you need. Custom cams can fit your particular setup better than a off the shelf one.

I've seen 340rwhp from a 218/224 to 355rwhp with a 847. The rest of the specs on your car would help with the cam choice also.

I'm going to get the crane 210/224 when I get my cam. The stock heads really need alot of exhaust duration because the exhaust ports suck. I forgot who it was, but do a search for 210/224 and there is a guy trappin 115 with stock heads and some weight reduction with this cam in an A4.

ditto that one, no need to go over kill on stock heads when they dont flow that well especially over .500" lift
that Crane cam, the XE 224/230 and CC 224/236 seem to work really well with stock heads and retain a good amount of driveability

what about the 230 236! this cam is awesome i have it on stock heads. The car pulls like a raped ape on steriods. Mine was custom ground to the specs in sig. Give speed inc a call they have some great cams that arent listed on their website and they will work with you to find a cam that will work perfect for you.

Ditto here. FIPK, Corsa, Hotcam kit, AS&M headers. Hit's consitent 13.0's w/ 2.0 60' and put down 339 to the wheels through a cutout. Very streetable and a cam you can still build on with some ported heads later on down the road.
