Newer LS1's get better gas mileage. Your SS is short for super-sweet.

thanks for the compliments guys!

pandamonkey- i got 270 kms out of roughly half a tank.

that was with allot of 5th and 6th gear. i also "drove" the car like it was meant to be driven too.

i wonder how many miles per gallon that is...

You got 270km out of half a tank because out tanks are V shaped. Our guages always move less in the first half of the tank. Try running it dry. You'll find the last half goes quicker than the first half.
