driveshaft end caps

driveshaft end caps

I was putting my drive shaft back in and of the caps came off the end of the drive shaft where it bolts to the rear end, i looked at it has these metal pins laying on the bottom and some fell out... how do i fix this can i buy these caps?

Those are the needle bearings. If you can find them all, just clean them up and put them back in the cap with some grease. Compare that cap to another to make sure you have all the needle bearings in there. I don't think you can buy just the caps, but you can buy a new u-joint.

Depending on your mileage. maybe you could just replace the whole u-joint, they are about 15 bux for our cars... Will probably take about an hr to replace....

they are worth the 15$ to replace ..... u dont wana have one come out.
