Easiest way to remove carpet?

OK, I need to lift up the carpet so I can install this Jegs DS loop that I picked up. I know I have to remove the seats, but what else do I have to remove? I'd like to know the easiest way to pull up the carpet. Just so you know, the Jegs loop doesn't mount using existing holes - you need to drill new ones from underneath. OR do you think I could just leave the carpet down and just remove the seats and drill from underneath?

You probably should take the carpet off to avoid the chance of drilling holes in it.. I recently did an interior swap and there's quite a bit.. Here's all I can remember:

Front Seats
Rear Seats
Console
Seat Belt Buckles (on floor)
Panels that run along the floor just inside the door (Driver's side includes dead pedal), unless you can pry the carpet from under them.. but you'd need to remove them to put the carpet back down..

That should be it, but the buckles on the floor are a pain because they're held on by Torx bolts.. The rest isn't too bad.. My advice would be to just take it off on one side, lift it up while you drill the holes, and put it back.. That saves you some work..
