What is the 1le intake elbow ive heard about it allot but dont know what it is

 

it looks the same but the hole where hte dong should be is closed off and smooth inside.

 

It's the same elbow that you have on your car without that long tube hanging from the bottom, also called a silencer.

 

its looks the same as stock but it dosent have the long plastic tube on the bottom side. on a reg z the botom tube is used to quiet engine noise, 1le elbow is said to flow smoother. i dont know cuz my car came stock with one (i have an actual 1LE) 1of 106 for 95

 

this is in the GM high performance catalog....right?

Actually, there are two:

1993-1994 1LE intake elbow
(no vent hole for opti) GM p/n 25147210

1995-1997 1LE intake elbow
(for vented opti) GM p/n 25147187

 

ok, im ordering through my Buick Gmc dealer i work at.. the parts guy wanted to verify the right part # so he could get me the deal on the right product.

If you don't have a ripped elbow, you could always just buy the MBA resonator plug to stick where your silencer used to be. Or you could go ghetto with the Prell shampoo cap

 

yea, its ripped at the throttle body end, causes weird idle sometimes when u move it around while motor is on. already have the "ghetto" way with it duct taped off, and the tube still hangin down...hehe

time for a new one

I know the vented opti elbow was cheaper, want to see if it still is..
Also a tip.. get the vented one if it's cheaper, just put s screw in the small hole.. that way you have the hole for later if you convert to vented opti.. also it should be cheaper too..[I got one for my 94]

 

thats funny, its a 1le elbow yet mine didnt come with one. i dont think they did in 96 or 97. so says 1le.net, and me
