Ya I do,
Do you have the 1LE RPO code in the door jam?

I got mine used too, and it needs a new driveshaft now, I ran over ice the other day and put a dent in it

I dont think there were many 1LE SS's made.

yeah its the real deal. sat on the lot for months,no one would buy it because no power anything. that is what i liked about it. i didnt know 1le from f1 when i bought it, found out later.as far as the codes go the only thing not on the car when i bought it was that COOL liscense plate thingy on front maybe the ss 1le got it from slp.$12,000 , 23000 miles 4 years ago. when i got it the car made some serious noises from the front end still trying to find that. i think it may be the struts everything else is ok.the only thing chev messed up on was the tranny....... it was a a4 i took care of that.

More then jsut 1LEs came without power.

On the drivers door jam there is a little sticker and it has all the options installed oin the car, look for 1LE anywhere on it.

also a steel driveshaft was NOT on the 1LEs and no one in there right mind would put one on.

I was doing 140 in a 60
j/k it was for a no front plate, and I got a warning cause I just bought the car
but ya it made a wicked picture.

ALL 1LE's got the alum driveshaft. All the SS gave over the non SS was the hood, spoiler, wheels, suspension... well kinda.

xride , go to 1le.net and on the main page at the top click on "here" and it gives you 4th gen. facts. alum driveshafts were dropped in 93.

no where does it say that 93 was the only year for alum driveshafts.

"These cars were sold without power accessories, T-tops or air conditioning, and aluminum drive shaft that was part of the thirdgen 1LE package is mysteriously gone in '93."

Reading it with real english it really makes no sence at all.

to me its contradictory really, but not a double negative at the same time. Its just hard to read.

I really dont know what it means, reading it over and over I think I think I know what it is less then when I started.

All I know is mine has an alum driveshaft, and the original owner in his words "everything is as it came from the factory.... well except the fuilds and filters, oil every 3 months (he later said it name made it to the 3k miles for oil changes, sometimes only 200 miles), oil and air filters changed at this time, and every january coolent was flushed, tranny was flushed, brakes were flushed, rear was flush, and hte fuel filter was changed"
He didnt like selling it, but I did
